Automotive in my blood

I started my passion for cars by watching Speed Racer cartoons in the early 70's. It helps that my father started in auto repair about the same time and I grew up in a shop environment from those early years. Mechanic, Service Advisor, Office Manager, Used Car Manager, I've held every position, done every job there is to do in the automotive aftermarket. I'm as comfortable sitting watching a movie in a car as I am watching from a couch.

While I respect all cars for their abilities and uniqueness, BMW's have been my passion for over 25 years. Before that I was a muscle car guy, I've built several Chevrolet Novas over my early years starting in High School. I love the lines on the Nova. Everyone else was fawning over Camaros at the time, I loved the 1969 - 1972 Nova model.

The First

The first BMW in the collection is my BMW e39 M5. Finding this car took 2 years of hard looking. The rare color combinations of Titanium Silver, two-tone black leather with silver ostrich leather, sport satin silver trim, and all leather interior is not easy to find and I was not willing to compromise.

Almost all of the collection today represents a particular color preference (besides silver), gearbox or option specific choices. I like hunting the cars I like, the chase takes longer, but worth it in the end.
